The DFO - Flood Observatory works closely with a network of local, regional, and international partners dedicated to improving flood monitoring and response worldwide. Through these collaborations, DFO advances capacity building, risk management, and early warning systems that help protect vulnerable communities from the impacts of extreme hydrologic events. Our partnerships link satellite-based observations, hydrological modeling, and local reporting to create timely, reliable, and openly available information on global flood activity. Together with research institutions, space agencies, and humanitarian organizations, DFO strives to enhance the understanding of flood dynamics and strengthen resilience. By sharing data, tools, and expertise, we aim to turn science into actionable insight, supporting decision-makers and responders in mitigating the risks of floods around the world.

Our Partners

The DFO – Flood Observatory works closely with a network of local, regional, and international partners dedicated to improving flood monitoring and response worldwide.
