There is a very
important difference between the very deadly floods in South Asia and the
less dramatic ones in Western countries. In South Asia these deadly floods
are worse from June to July. Central America has some deadly floods in Sept/Oct
and South America in Feb. In Africa the seasonality seems to be less influent
on the number of fatalities. Between the years there is an interesting difference in South/Central America between 1998 and 1999 and between 1987 and 1988. |
