The average number of people killed during a flood event varies between 64 (if we base the average on all the flood events) and 94 (if we base the average only on the floods with people killed for sure). These values are affected by some few large flood events (e.g. October and December). The Median number of people killed during flood events is not affected by extreme floods. It confirms the higher number of people killed during summer floods and the lower number during the spring season (North Hemisphere).
