Nimroz province - Zaranj. Districts: Chakhansur, Chahar Burjak
Urozgan (Uruzgan) province - Dehrawut District, Deh Rawud, Tarin
Kot, Khas Uruzgan district and in Chori. Gezab.
Farah province - Farah city
Ghor province - Chaghcharan, Charchana, Kanda, Shahrak
Herat province - Adraskan, Pashtun Zarghun and Farsi districts
Ghowr Province - Taywara District
other provinces - Faryab, Paktia, Khost and Paktika.
Rivers:
Sistan Wetlands, Helmand river and tributaries. Saghar, Tarin Kot,

Comments: Snow begins melting after worst winter
in a decade in Afghanistan, flooding is expected to increase.
Nimroz - 300 houses destroyed, 3 dead.
March 21 - Urozgan Province - 115 dead, 1,000 trapped on islands
formed by floods, thousands houses destroyed in Deh Rawud District.
March 22 - death toll revised to 2 dead, 12 missing in Uruzgan.
26 dead across the country.
68 dead and 100 houses destroyed in Farah. 40 deaths in Faryab and
Ghor. 266 families displaced in Ghor. 2,500 houses had collapsed
